This 1943 musical tells the complicated love story of wealthy heir Andy Mason (James Ellison) and cabaret singer Eadie (Alice Faye) as they meet the day before he is deployed to war. It’s love at first sight! When he returns from war it is revealed he was already promised to another. Will he be able to find an out with Vivian (Sheila Ryan) so he can marry his true love?

Mr Holmes (2015)

This mystery film adds an emotional human touch to a classic character. Sir Ian McKellen stars as retired detective Sherlock Holmes. Suffering with dementia, 93-year-old Mr Holmes tries to remember his final case as his mind slowly deteriorates.
